A pipe, tobacco or maybe if he's really cool a pair of slippers.

Re: The father's day gift idea thread

What I like about Fathers' Day, is the uncertainty of how many gifts that I may receive, this time round.

Re: The father's day gift idea thread

As a father I can with authority and without any shadow of a doubt say that the only present worth giving or receiving on Fathers day is beer...

It's an interesting concept. How much does a machine like this cost? I know a Big family would love this but like everything in life having pizza all the time will get boring like the rest of things.

Unfortunately this Father's day will be the first of many that I will not be able to celebrate with my wonderful Father who passed away from Cancer Feb 1st this year. I will raise a beer to his memory and thank him for being a truly consummate gentleman.

Re: The father's day gift idea thread

When is it here in CH? (and not in Ticino ). I thought I saw it recently on a holiday calendar list. I feel bad for my hubby on father's day last year as the kids did all sorts of stuff in school/playgroup for me, but nothing for him....so I should probably get something organized!

Sorry to hear this, but it certainly will be a good moment to have a drink and reflect on kind actions past!

Enjoy both the drink and the moment..
