Re: Sales to foreigners in Kanton Wallis

My daughter participated in "un verre de blanc" this evening in Sion following a successful property transaction. Early in the proceedings, the notaire present described Weber as thus: "il est completement con!" (Sorry mods for naughty words!).

Just watched the programme. Basically it is a mess and nobody has a clue how the law will be implemented and what happens in between either. So I'd tread carefully - or jump in quick. No idea!
Very many thanks - despite the outcome obviously being extremely unclear. It will probably take some "pioneers" to ascertain exactly how it all works

Re: Sales to foreigners in Kanton Wallis

I have just watched the Temps Present programme. I thought it was well-presented and gave a balanced view of the situation.

The application of the Weber Initiative will be discussed in Parliament in the Autumn. I'm sure good swiss common-sense will apply, but it is going to be a very difficult situation to handle.
