Wow, tell us something we don't know.... Portugal, Italy and Spain... The chances are indeed very very high that one of them will be lifting the cup.
I told you I am good.

But you forgot Germany
I did not as I said sieg shouting fans will go home early. German fans shout "SIEG" ie. Victory at the stadium. It sounds really cool but reminds me of WWII movies lol.
Love the Germans but their party has to stop cause PIGS (minus Greeks) are coming

Portuguese supporters are as noisy as the Italians or Spanish, so maybe the problem is not the Portuguese... maybe the problem is that all these expat want to feel like home

Wait for the champion on Sunday and we'll see... :P
I beg to differ.
Especially on the "noisy bit". Well to be correct, so far around flat I live in Lausanne, the "portugueses"(=portuguese's team football fans beeping with cars) have been the winner of the "annoying" competition:
They beeped much longer (easily an hour more than others).

Actually even after France/Spain I was extremely surprise how quiet the fans were... I did not watch the game and I even though: did the french win? (not that they would not beep but that they would not believe they won).

Or maybe, it means that the Spanish had not much to "celebrate" seeing how easy the task was?

Anyway, maybe it was totally random and they were more active for those 2 nights.

But based on my observation it was definitely correct.

Let's see how long the spanish will beep tonight!

Re: What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

Depends on the locality and population of foreigners. In my area without doubt the Italians are the loudest. Greeks were good with firecrackers but Germany took care of them

That's right. There are more Portuguese in Lausanne and Neuchatel than Italians, Spanish or German.

No need to tell the winner, it's kinda self expanatory. I can't believe Spain has no fanbase in Swiss ( Lausanne to be exact. ) anyway, good night @ll.

Re: What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

We only had beeping for about an hour after the match last night, so that's an improvement, I guess. There weren't as many out as when Portugal won, so it was comparatively quieter.

Come on Germany for tonight!

Yes they are, they beat the Republic of Jupiter by 7 wickets to 15 baskets (in additional penalty overtime)

Portugal did extremely well and rattled Spain. I don't see Germany or Italy beating Spain without shedding blood.

It was so quiet last night!

Maybe the Spanish football team fans were actually "celebrating" in more civilized ways. You know the old fashioned "I shout for a few minutes, have beer, smile, cheers, sing for a few minutes...". Or maybe even drink with friends, etc...

Anyway, what happened to the portuguese team football fans???
Did their honk got damaged after using it so much last time? Or maybe they ran out of fuel from driving hours every now and then? Ho wait, don't reply I don't care

They could simply have been lulled into a vegetative state by the football?

I think they have quite a few fans. But they behave more like civilized people than you-know-who.

My Spanish colleagues are happy, they were out yesterday. They said they were singing, celebrating but they haven't used their car beep/honk to "celebrate". They keep that for driving to warn other drivers.

Anyway, the debate is self-terminated as we won't hear from any "portuguese" for quite a while now. Oh maybe for the crisis, when their banks will beg for money (<--- that one not meant to be funny, there's nothing funny in people being screwed by banks or governments).

Yesterday in Geneva city centre cops were actually cracking down on Spanish fans making noise and driving recklessly. Nice of the Geneva police to do something useful for once.
