What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

Do you think it's too much, isn't disturbing a whole town each time the team wins considered a public disorder? I've got nothing on Portugues people, but i find it disturbing.

Re: What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

I don't understand you exactly.

Are you complaining the Portugese make too much noise?

Are you complaing the authorities act too harshly against people celebrating?

Just be grateful they're not selling vuvuzelas here.

Re: What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

acctually in Lausanne, you can't even hear your own words with the vuvuzelas noise around your ears. Actually, like i said i have no hate toxards the fans/people as a whole. I just find it a bit uncomforting that whenever non-suisse does something the Suisse themselves tend to blame it on all immigrants/expats which i happen to be a member of i wouldn`t celebrate like that even if my own country wins based on the same reason

There are heaps of Portuguese here in Glattbrugg, but in the usual Portuguese way, they do not make much noise.

Re: What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

You should have been here in Zurich earlier this week when both Italy AND Spain won!!! Although, here in Zurich there seems to be a party every time someone, anyone wins a game. I think it's quite fun, I have never seen in any place I lived before so much celebrations by people not from the place. Takes my head away from work, worries, etc for a few minutes and makes me smile. Besides, if I close my window I don't hear anything at all!

True that. We usually have super gollies, Čech, Hašek.. Still, I was so ready to victoriously gut out our anthem. It's all good and if Portuguese team wins the whole shtick, it will hurt less.

Good luck to them, they are entitled to celebrate seems like you are just upset because there are people out there having a good time and willing to show it.

Re: What are you reactions about the noisy portugues fans?

I love it, livens this dull place up a bit. People celebrating and enjoying themselves - shock horror!

Trust me, if by some small miracle England beat the Italians on Sunday, I will be celebrating in similar fashion.

Maybe I will wake my neighbours instead of the other way round for a change.

My problem with it is that it's based on nationalism.

Beeping your horn for 15 minutes is one thing - don't know what it was like where the OP is but here on Monday night it went on for at least an hour and a half, probably more, until midnight. When you have to get up for work the next morning, it's not really cool.
