Err windows...?
Would require a straight line of sight from the road through the window to the music system, taking into account things like attenuation of IR in glass, angular reflections etc. A bit hit and miss if you ask me, with a lot more miss than hit.

Si non e vero ...

Reminds me of a Viz top tip.

Buy the same TV as your neighbour and keep changing the channel through the window.
Engineers use the HP48

Don't accept free keyrings, Vaud Police

Just received a message from one of my brothers who lives in Vaud, re criminals offering very attractive free keyrings are petrol stations, markets, or in the street. They are targetting people who 'look' wealthy, good car, clothes, etc. Do NOT accept those keyrings and pass on the location of any trying to give you one of them to the police. Those keyrings contain a microchip which allows the criminals to find out where you live, and your movements - so they can burgle you. Please beware.

Official message from Head of Vaud Police - not from someone in the street

contacts courriels.

Well, "nowhere at all, including Geneva and Vaud" if you read the thread, otherwise it's "Geneva, Vaud, Gullibleville, Area 51, Elvis Presley's house".

Re: Dodgy Key Rings - Geneva

Well its obvious isnt it? There is a hole in the big box and you just attach a loop there. The other things are extra keyrings so that they match your clothes. Jeez do i have to tell you everything?

Re: Dodgy Key Rings - Geneva

I got done by this many years ago, before the technology was as good as it is now. Someone gave me a keyring made out of a bag of flour with a tiny hole in the bottom.

I reckon the clue was in the address at the end of the "Official message from Head of Vaud Police":

I was going to come up with a wise crack about an implanted tracking device, but I'm ready to admit that Adrian London has achieved "maximum humor potential." for this thread.

I bow down to you sir, and acknowledge your greatness.

This is rubbish, head of the Police and he's signs off as an Inspector in the drug squad....

Not even the phone numbers make any sense, Canmton of Vaud numbers for a domestic operation would be written as 021 644 86 43, (which doesn't exist)
