Re: Coop cooked chickens are good value!

I know cheap ones do but not to the extent of the ready cooked ones I don't think. Something cooked and kept hot as long as them would normally day out a bit.

It is easy to cook a chicken perfectly but not everyone knows what they are doing or are too paranoid about poisoning people so over cook the bird.

Whole chicken may contain water too.

When I cook chicken it is always moist, never dry, no need to inject anything. It's just a question of knowing what you're doing.

The cooked one usually is 13 chf for the full chicken and is not by weight. So tend to be smaller ones 800g.

Overall still a great deal...
Are you talking about Migros or another shop? Coop always weighs the cooked chickens and I've never paid more than 10CHF for one.
