Thanks for posting about Hollgrotten, it's now on my really short list of rainy day activities.

Not too bad here - Summer will be back from Monday onwards (of course BBQ for friends and family is tomorrow, aghh well).

Of course 'pants' means a very different thing for our friends across the pond, lol. That's where they hang their 'fanny packs'

Weather is freaken "pants" every day here... seriously... we haven't had one single day without rain in over a month! Any clue what a family with a 2 year old can do around "ost schweiz"?

Same as we did when our tiddler was two years old. Dress in rain gear and wellies, take to nearest park, allow to run around for pre-determined time, take home, dry off, feed with hot chocolate, feed with dinner, put to bed. Problem solved.

Schloss Lenzberg is also a nice rainy day place. Up in the attik they have dress up clothes for the kids and arts & crafts area.

Go to Ticino, about 90min from Chur. BTW - Chur is sunnier than most of NE Switzerland, so you're still blessed compared to those poor souls living in places like st gallen.
