Re: Can you drink straight from the tap in Switzerland?

Yeah, and I don't even know where to begin when it comes to what AMERICAN water will do to you.

But let's just say it makes rectal bleeding sound not so bad...

Re: Can you drink straight from the tap in Switzerland?

It's all going fuzzy. My head, it's so light, I can't focus. The room is spinning, pictures are all out of focus. Who's that shadowy figure dressed in black? His scythe seems familiar, my life is flashing in front of me. My old teddy bear seems to be waving me goodbye, my parents looking down on my lifeless body and my school friends talking, but I can't respond, the tunnel is getting bigger, I'm falling, just falling.

I should have known not to drink the water straight from the faucet, oh well, there's always the next life ....

haha lots of humour in this thread. I just heard from someone that there's a high level of talc present in the tap water.. but I'm not sure what this would do, nor do I know if there was any evidence to support this claim.

American beer is definitely watered down to the absolute max.

You must of misheard talc for kalk (calc. = calcium) - from the limestone rocks, through which much of the water permeates before re-emerging from springs.

If you genuinely did hear talc, then that's probably because people are flushing their heavily cut dime bags down the bog, in fear of being raided when the doorbell rings ...... in which case the water companies are taking the piss.
