01 August holiday ( anyone working? )

Does anyone else have to work tomorrow or will it be just me and Ed.Bob here having a chat?

OH will be working - mostly to ensure his people can take the day off in peace.

(The boss in the UK can't seem to get his head around the concept of different holidays in different countries.)

There's lots going on on 1st August if you look beyond the shops....lots of parties and celebrations, cultural attractions, hiking & sporting activities, etc..

Our commune firework display is tonight , so everyone can stay up late to enjoy themsleves and have a lie-in tomorrow (meaning the Swiss will get up at 6:30 instead of 5:45).

The old guy who runs the cable car that I intend to be taking tomorrow better be working August 1 otherwise I'll have an extra three hour uphill trek before I get to really start my mountain hike.

Not me!
Though that's not difficult as I am a lady of leisure anyway.
Hubby is on holiday though so I won't have as much time as usual on EF .
