I remember my best friend being a Junior Dr in London in 1970. £1000 for 145 hrs a week. It's a bit better now
The pay is, but the hours are still horrendous. :-(

Re: Study medicine in Geneva

Hello everyone!

I have seen what you are saying (although this forum its old I hope my opinion can help) and I wanted to tell you my experience.

I am from Spain and I wanted to study medicine in Europe (because in Spain I was not able because of my grades) so I found an organization calls Donde-estudiar-medicina that helps students who want to study medicine, dentistry, veterinary, pharmacy, psychology… in Europe.

They helped me to find a University in which I could study medicine, which I could afford, and they also helped me to find a residence to live, helped me with all the admission process and everything.

I am really happy and I want to express my gratitude to them because if they wouldn't have helped me I probably couldn't have achieved my dreams of study medicine.

Now I am studying medicine in english at the Pleven Medical University in Bulgaria and I have met a lot of new people, important people in the medicine field and I love the university life!

I recommend you to visit their page and contact them if you really want to study medicine because they will help you to make your dream come true!

Hope my opinion will help you!

Sincerely

Pedro-
