Shopping Bridge, Erotic Shop and Cultures

Just wondering, does it bother anyone else, to stop for milk at Migros Shopping Bridge Wurenlos, and be forced to look at dildos?

Somehow, each time I stop at this place (as infrequent as possible) I am struck by this question. What happens to families, coming home from the Swiss Alps, wanting a liter of milk?

Does this mean I am a prude?

Prude yes

They are operating a perfectly legit business and doing nothing illegal, people here don't let such small things bother them.

I, too, try to avert my eyes (have a similar situation, but this time with Coop) away from the dildos - as I find the lingerie more pleasing to the eye .... the thought of a woman frigg self fulfilling, is, well ... um .... quite .......

Personally, I like to look at dildos.

I also like to dress them up like Mr. Potato Head.

No need to worry about the families from the Alps they have their own cows so they dont need to come to these shops for milk!

I find it much more offensive to see rifles and hand-guns on sale when shopping for milk in the U.S.

A gun can do more harm than a dildo.

Of course you should remove the bullets before using it as a dildo

Re: Shopping Bridge, Erotic Shop and Cultures

Actually the erotic shop should lodge a complaint that their customers are forced to look at milk bottles in the shop next door and this is reducing the dildo sales!

You have your cultural background, it's not a surprise that you need to adjust to the Germanic ways with sexuality in general. It's part of the experience of leaving one's cultural comfort zone by living far away from what is your home also for your psyche.
I found "right-in-your-face" street poverty in India far more difficult to deal with than any porn material in Amsterdam, Hamburg or Copenhagen. I accepted the experience for what it was: India. Wonderful in its own way anyway.

Are you kidding? Have you seen the damage done by a fully loaded battle Dildo tearing down a trench...
..Now that did not come out right did it?

I had a similar experience in the kiosk attached to our Migros. It didn't actually bother me but I was curious to know why I had to fumble through a lot of pornography to find the business magazine I take regulary - so I asked. The woman there told me simply that all "Mšnnersachen" are arranged together on the shelves.
