Mont Blanc pen refills in Bern?

Hi everyone,

I know this seems like a highly-specific question, but does anyone know where to get Mont Blanc pen refills in Bern? (As an example, here's a link to the Amazon US page for what I'm looking for.)

I've visited the Coop Ryfflihof (in their pen/pencil section), Stauffacher book shop (which had a pen and paper section), the Office World Express, and the Migro Do It + Garden (oddly, they had a pen section) to no avail.

These refills are something that's reasonably readily available at office supply stores in the US (I've bought them at Staples in the past) but I am evidently looking in the wrong places here.

I just need the (relatively) cheap refills, not the expensive pen itself.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Just for clarification, I'd prefer not to pay an arm and a leg for them. Amazon Germany is selling a two-pack for about 11 Euro, so I'd hope to get a two-pack for under CHF 15 if possible. I'm not sure if that's possible or not. :-D

Rock on. Thanks. It's tough not knowing where to look. My Google-fu is weak here.

Shiny, thanks. I walk by that shop now and again and never really gave it a second look.

For reference, I ask because I did something like this a while back and want to do it again. It's nice having a "$200+" pen for about $6.

Re: Mont Blanc pen refills in Bern?

Many thanks to FMX: the Waser shop in Bern has the refills, though they're not on display. One has to ask the clerk to get them (surprising to me, my legendarily-bad German was sufficient for the clerk to understand what I was looking for). I always feel bad when I subject unsuspecting Swiss clerks to my German.

For reference, the refills are CHF 6.70. If anyone else wishes to do the Montblanc-refill-in-Pilot-G2 trick, you need the "Rollerball" refills, not the "kugelschrieber" (ballpoint pen) ones. The ballpoint pen refills are too short.

Umm. Just being pedantic, but you don't have a €200+ pen. You have an original refill for 15 USD (approx) in a pen worth 6 USD, so you have a pen worth 21 USD.

If you had a case that looked exactly like a MB 200+ USD pen and a refil, then you would have a 200+ USD pen for however much your replica pen cost + the refill.

Re: Mont Blanc pen refills in Bern?

The question has already been answered but GLOBUS City and Westside should have them as well.

*laughs* Fair enough. I suppose to be more precise, I have a $6 pen that writes like a $200+ pen.
