Father Christmas Outfit

Hi All,

Sorry I really wasnt sure where to put this...I am looking to hire a Father Christmas outfit for my hubby to wear to hand out pressies to the kids at our Christmas fest!

Anyone know a good party shop where I can rent this in the Baden/Bremgarten area?

Thanks
Ali

Re: Father Christmas Outfit

Google for "Samichlaus Kostüm". I found a shop in Aarau:

Father Christmas is not very known in Switzerland. Here the "Christkind" brings the gifts at Christmas.

.... but Weihnachtsman (St. Nikolas) brings peanuts, mandarins and lebkuchen on 6 Dec. However he is traditionally attired as a bishop.

The British/US Santa Clause appearance is now, also, much well known and used for decorations and chocccy, lebkucken and other such stuff.

Just the catholic ones are dressed up as bishops with the white gown and the mitra, the protestant ones are dressed just like Santa Claus. Or better Santa Claus is dressed like the Samichlaus, because he is a around for centuries. And you never see them at Christmas, but at December 6th.
