Have you ever been in a UK hospital and seen the signs by the patient's bed before an operation I bet that would get some of the guys here drooling

It's a tattoo of my daughter's name but I can't get the picture to upload here for some reason. I'll try again later.

Right foot.

I've seen the picture, it did happen. I just wondered if it tickled or was painful, that's thin skin. What colour is the polish, mimi?
It didn't tickle or hurt really. Just felt a bit stingy every now and then. I was quite surprised as the guy who owned the salon was trying to convince me to have it somewhere else as it's apparently the second most painful place to have a tattoo, the first being your elbow according to him.

The guy wasn't Polish, he was American

Not painful at all Nil. So you want to brand me as your beatch?

Mimi, honestly, with your online persona I expected you to already have at least a few tattoos.
How on earth do I come across then?

Wrong. The most painful place is where I have mine. But it is so sweet you chose your daughter's name. With boyfriends' and husbands names you never know

Then that's why it's painful. They shouldn't be using a drill.

I disagree. Ladies can't get a tattoo where I got mine and that hurt!

Removal is painful too but I need two names on there now.

Re: Mid life crisis

Hah .... my sister`s daughter`s husband (No.1) had a tatoo of her name in big black box letters near his you-know-what.

A year later they got divorced. After a few years she re-married - to a man with the EXACT same name as No.1! (sheer co-incidence! but anyway she had declined tatooing)

At our secret sister meetings we chuckle about No.1`s tatoo ..... Did he have it removed....?...dunno. The odds of meeting someone with the same name?

A lesson for future enamoured ...... stick to dragons/butterflies/flowers/feathers/etc ..... names can prove complicated, and painful.... or embarassing.

..............................

I had my tatoo done when I was 43. When I knew I was never going to become a corporate secretary or anything else requiring me to not look like a member of Hells Angels.
Indian feathers, bear claws, etc around my arm.

My grand-daughter says she wants to inherit it when I die.

I did see during home office last week a gentleman on Jeremy Kyle with "100% British Meat" on his you-know-what.

As you might expect, I'm not really having mine replaced once it's gone
