Price difference in different cities (?)

Is there any difference between the price of C&A, H&M and ... in different cities? I mean is there any difference between the C&A in Bern and Lausanne?

None. Unless there's a store specific sale which is rare-ish.
Brands usually do brand-wide promos. Brands can even stay the same price (save duties / levies) across countries.

I disagree. I think a lot of places have different pricing policies depending on the city. I'm not talking promos here, they will be for the whole country, I'm talking general every day prices. As fatmanfilms mentioned Media Markt, their prices are lot higher in Lausanne, Bienne and Bern than the one here in Fribourg. Petrol/diesel costs more in Lausanne, sometimes by as much as 10 centimes per litre.

The same prices all over the country in case of a chain

HOWEVER
A) the station manager of any store can determine which articles are supplied to his store, which means that stores in low-income areas will rather get cheaper stuff and stores in high-income areas will obtain more upmarket stuff
B) in case of COOP and Migros (etc) the station managers are free to purchase a certain percentage of agricultural products (and certain handicraft products) from local suppliers. This explains why things like Green Salad have price differences between different stores

in UK diffferent stores do have different prices, depending on location

Have not noticed so much in Switzerland, except with arriving certain grocery store will have a promotion on lots of fruit/veg, presumably something either to do with over delivery or problem with their storage

Again, the principle of most chains in Switzerland is that the prices are the same in ALL locations. In view of the complicated delivery routes in question it means that stores in airport close areas like Zürich are subsidizing stores in remote areas.

Grocery arriving from Southern Italy or from Spain or overseas may be heavily delayed upon arrival in Zürich/Luzern/Basel/Geneva and needs to be sold immediately. The stuff cannnot be delivered to remoter places but has to be sold right immediately.
