warning: EXTREMELY addictive. "alright just one more turn" | | | | |
Okay, I will download it.
I will let you know how I get on.

my " modern" system from just 2 years ago seems ancient now..
asus P8Z68-V PRO GEN3, i5 2500k 3.3kghz, 16gb ram and 2x radeon 5700 1gb in crossfire, 120GB Corsair Force SSD, 2TB WD Caviar black.
cards are slowing things down with graphic heavy cards but easily achieve 60-80fps on things such as stalker on max.

| | Re: Any other avid gamers out there? What platform(s) do you use?
PC and tablet
Used to share a Wii with my flatmate, but didn't think it was interesting enough to buy one for myself. It can be fun to play with friends though. What kinda of game-genres do you like most?
Adventures, FPS, Horror/Survival
On the tablet I mostly play word games. What game-genres can you absolutely not stand?
Nothing really, but there are not many games out there that will be able to hold my interest for very long. What games are you currently playing?
I'm almost too embarrassed to admit that I'm totally hooked on Wolfenstein Enemy Territory. Really old game, have been playing it forever already. I like it because gameplay is really simple, but still interesting. Plus the community is pretty old, because it's such an old game.
I'm pretty good at it too. I love it when some guy starts ranting and I get to tell him he just got his ass kicked by a woman. | Quote: | | | | | Hey where are the old school point-n-click adventure gamers? | | | | | I love point-n-click adventures! That's how I got into gaming in the first place. Monkey Island, King's Quest, Loom. Not too many of new ones that are that good though. Or maybe I have higher standards now?
I do like how they remaster these some old games for tablets. I think adventure gaming is making a come back.

Nothing really, maybe MMORPGs because the good ones you gotta pay for and they take too much of my life. What games are you currently plRight now i am into halo 4 (yes.. late but i put it off due to the events noted above). Batman Origins, GTA5 etc..
Im a gamer, use to be heavy till this event called marriage happened.
Then it got worst when a kid came .
But i still find time once or twice a week, I like to game on consoles, i dont like PC's because my one is not that stable.
My dream is to have a day off where I game all day, but for now that dream comes when everyone is asleep and I can have enough energy to play.
if anyone is into LAN parties (with systems) or online Halo meetups, I am down. I dont do COD sadly, i just never got into it and dont want to.
Also any classic gamers out there? I love N64, i personally would love to Play Goldeneye or MK64 any day of the week.

All very cartoon style though. | | | | | I think you are referring to one of the Sam & Max games. I don't think the rabbit is in the habbit of eating people though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam_%26_Max_Hit_the_Road |

The part I remember was with a cat.

yeah i leveled a monk and a wizard. maybe i will check back with loot 2.0
also played path of exile which was great. cant believe it was f2p without feeling like one big advertisement.
still have to play torchlight I and II, they look good. titanquest also looks alright but is a bit older now i think.

Make sure you have Immortal Throne if you decide to play it. Adds more features to the game, a new mastery, plus an additional act. Start straight off with Immortal Throne, there's no need to play TQ vanilla first.
Also update the game with the bugfix fanpatch here: http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/t...fix-patch-1-17
and the patch for the patch: http://www.titanquest.net/tq-forum/t...-Fanpatch-1-17
Both of which fix those things that were wrong in the game that Iron Lore didn't get around to fixing before they went under. Quest rewards not correct, some skills didn't work properly, some items didn't drop, etc. Both these patches will fix these and make sure you can play the game fully.
Also have a look at www.grimdawn.com, TQ's spiritual successor and being made by some of the people who worked on TQ at Iron Lore. It's a small team of only 6 and the game is using TQ's engine, but although it's only at alpha stage it's really looking and playing very well.

Loot 2.0 is looking really good on the PTR :-) Hopefully Blizzard will continue with the positive changes to RoS
PoE was a huge innovation. I got onto the very early beta, and enjoyed many of hours of free play! The gameplay is a bit clunky, but the build possibilities with the skill tree was overwhelming! | Quote: | | | | | yeah i leveled a monk and a wizard. maybe i will check back with loot 2.0

My turn: - What platform(s) do you use? PC, PS3, Wii - What kinda of game genre do you like most? RPG, Strategy, Adventure (Point and click too), Puzzles
- What game-genres can you absolutely not stand? Bad sports sims, awful wii inspired movement games
- What games are you currently playing? Peggle (PC)
Emperor - Rise of the Middle Kingdom (PC)
Mark of the Ninja (PC) - I wish I had more time so I could finally finish / start playing these: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii)
Okami HD (PS3)
Ni No Kuni (PS3)
Starcraft II - Heart of the Swarm (PC)
Diablo III (PC)
Civ 5 looks nice, but I know that if I get it, I'll end up playing for a couple of hours and then never pick it up again. So nah!
