I was smashed on the head by a little thug ! by snowball. I grew up differently, i was on a bike and could have crashed. We all have fun with snowballs but , even as a kid i knew not to do that. Also ,i encountered a team of little ones whojust walk, not looking around.. not caring.Again i was on my bike.. i had to get off and wait for them to pass. Maybe its just where i live but.. really..
Thats not too bad, in my town kids used to put branches or sticks in the spokes of wheels are you cycle past. OUCH

or

One housing estate they would hide in bushes and as you walk past they would pull you in . . . Its a frightening experience.

or

Throw eggs at you.

BUT come visit Ireland, its lovely & we need your money

Re: Unruly Kiddies

My little girl is fascinated by snowballs and tries to throw them (like the older kids) She did in fact hit someone. Instead of getting angry he just laughed and went on. It was a good aim and I told her it was not nice but how do reason completly with a 2 year old LOL. And when I see bicycles riding on the sidewalk when the bike path and right next to it, I wish I sometimes had a snowball to launch at their heads

Re: Unruly Kiddies

As I recall, when I was a kid, no one, not even adults, thought anything of getting hit by snowballs unless they were icy snowballs or had a rock in them.

No ! i was just on the shortcut through the back streets .. it just worried me as even though some could see me coming they wouldnt back down.. and i had to stop. And let them pass.In my day , we deferred to anyone bigger ! its not a problem tho.. Ref the one who hit me... it was a good shot จจ and i did stop , and thought, and then didnt return ! close tho.

I my youth, we snowballed the buggars that though a driving ban does not apply to them. Size dind't matter we were kids; faster, swifter, the manyer, and totally clueless.

No, there are plenty of oceans in Switzerland too. And herds of wilderbeest.

What were you thinking when you wrote that?
One can dive in rivers, if they are deep enough, and there also could be underground springs and grottoes which might be interesting to explore. As an amateur diver myself, I would never recommend diving in an overhead environment, such as a cave, simply because it is too dangerous...
