Its funny some people still believe in it. I thought this kind of scam was out-dated. Have seen lot of them in last 8-10 years. I remember the incident when I was in Australia around 7 years ago. This kind of scam was new and one of my friends almost quit his job imagining himself as a multi-millionaire. We call him a dumba** since then.

Union Bank of Switzerland was founded in 1912 as the Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft, in French, Union des Banques Suisses. UBS was part of many of their logos already in the early 'sixties or maybe even much earlier. What you mean is the merger with the SBC in the late '90s, when the German name Schweizerische Bankgesellschaft (SBG) was completely dropped in favor of UBS.
