Wanted to share my experience :)

I usually go to fitness in the morning, before work, but today I went during lunch time.

On my way, I usually meet people who ask for some change. Nothing different from my home country. Some just beg, some make up a story. Some are more believable than the others.

I want to help them, but I don’t, since I have heard that these people use it to smoke weed or buy some more alcohol.

However,

Today, I saw this guy who was sitting and his dog quietly sitting next to him. So I thought I will do something for them. Following conversation was in german, and I just translated it so I dont embarrass myself

Me: Hey, Speak English
Guy: No
Me: I bring dog food, ok? (Yup, thats how bad my German is)
Guy: Many Thanks
Me: Sure, wait 10 minutes, I come.

I went back, dropped my bag, and went to the coop below my office. Got some stuff and walked back.

The moment he saw me, his eyes just lit up. From what I saw, he didn’t really expect to me to come back I guess.

He quickly said something to the dog, it was inaudible. The dog just got up and seemed like he would start a tornado with his wagging tail

Guy: Many Many Many Thanks. Not many people come back
Me: No problem, have a great day ahead.
Guy: You too. Thanks a lot.
Dog: 'wag' 'wag' 'wag' 'wag' 'wag' 'wag'
Me: I take a picture, ok ? for my colleagues so they help too
Guy: Yes yes please
Dog: 'wag' 'wag' 'wag' 'wag' 'wag' 'wag'

I felt good walking back. Wanted to share it with you all. There are really nice people here and who offer a helping hand to others. I just wanted to do same to a person whom I don’t know at all. It felt good, really good.

Wish you all a lovely day.
