Best shirts in Switzerland since 1904
Kauf factory Outlet in Ebnat Kappel in lovely Toggenburg, the air there is so good.
We were there on special day and paid 49.--/59.-- per shirt. You get even tea and cake free of charge if you buy something. Then popped to Feldkirch in Austria for a little shop and stroll. Perfect!

Is this a good deal, electronics experts ? At interdiscount here in lausanne you can get a 65 inch KD65XE7005 sony telly for a grand (999.90). this seems very cheap for a whopping 65 incher. it has
Motionflow XR 200 Hz
Resolution 4k
smart TV
Wifi etc
seems jolly cheap ? Bearing in mind I am absolutely not someone who looks for utterly perfect pictures (we dont even have HD in our house currently cos it interferes with the kids ipads) is this good value ?

But this is an LG, which is not bad in itself (I have an LG 65" as well) and the other one is a SONY...so...not to be brand bashing but SONY do have a better name when it comes to TVs. At least they did in the BRAVIA times.
PS: If you're not a purist and just after good value, take the LG. Its a good TV and decent tech for the buck.
I have mine now for about 2 years and it hasn't crocked on me yet. *bangs on wood*

Looks like an ok TV, but nothing spectacular and it lacks the Android TV interface founds in other models. I recommend googling professional reviews and doing some research on it.

If you are looking for a good pair of wireless headphones, interdiscount has the Beats Studio3 for 229 chf. Down from the list price of 399 CHF. These are especially good if you have an iphone/ipad/watch. They have an apple W1 chip which makes them easily pairable with those devices https://www.interdiscount.ch/de/cms/...-beats-studio3 |

The key problem is that the offer requires a 24 month lock in. This is not necessarily a good idea since 5G will be rolled out over 2019. This should (hopefully) change pricing even more for 4G offers as well as introducing new offers on 5G.
Another option on the Salt network is CoopMobile. CHF 29.90 per month with unlimited calls/sms/mms and 5GB of data on 4G. The product is called Swiss Flat. There is NO contract lock in like with Salt's offer.
Swisscom's similar product with their SimplyMobile brand is CHF 29.90 per month but with only 2GB of data (that does however roll over at the end of the month if not used). No contract length.

I don't think prices would change with 5G. In the same way that (supported) phones just got faster data at every generation step, the same thing is going to happen moving forward. If net neutrality was a thing here (which it isn't unfortunately), new speeds would just be reached from our equipment (read: phones) as the providers are upgrading theirs...

Again, contracts are not 4g or 5g or whatever-g.
Contracts are for a service. The service will be provided per the contract, and the infrastructure that supports that service should not be a contractual matter.
Of course net neutrality is not that big in CH, with Swisscom offering different speeds for different prices, but competition will probably offer alternatives (as they do today).

Especially with Swisscom leading the rollout of 5G. They will try to skim the market as much as they can and for as long as they can.
I do not agree with DM (post above) on the auto upgrade to 5G so we will see. I see Swisscom trying to make a regular and premium product offering and not "downgrade" the 5G offering given the massive investment that it requires.
The pricing "fight" if there is one will most likely take place at the 4G level. Which is in all honesty is a level of speed that should meet the needs of most people.

If you have a lower, limited contract (eg: Swisscom Infinity XS/S) then yes it is likely that 5G data will be either limited or not available. However, for the higher-end unlimited contracts I would reasonably assume the upgrade is automatic.
