You don't.

You may end up cooking and watching chick films one night a week though.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

for those who cant or don't want to have a 70", does 65" work for you?

If yes then this deal from melectronics might be the one for you:
https://www.melectronics.ch/de/p/770...u7170-163cm-4k

Samsung UE65NU7170 for CHF 777.00 great deal for a 65" TV in my opinion. 4-4.5 out of 5 stars in most reviews.

Edit: Another option is the LG 55" TV: 55UK6950 https://www.melectronics.ch/de/p/770...6950-139-cm-4k for CHF 555.00

Enjoy

Been there, was hard enough getting her to agree to 65 when what I really desired was 75

Gotta say a year later, she loves it

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

A man wakes up in a hospital...bandaged from head to foot.

The doctor comes in and says, "Ah, I see you've regained consciousness. Now, you probably won't remember, but you were in a huge pile-up on the freeway. You're going to be okay, you'll walk again and everything;

however, your penis was severed in the accident and we couldn't find it."

The man groans, but the doctor goes on...

"You have $9000 in insurance compensation coming and we now have the technology to build a new penis.

They work great but they don't come cheap. It's roughly $1000 an inch."

The man perks up. So, the doctor says, "You must decide how many inches you want.

But understand that you have been married for over thirty years and this is something you should discuss with your wife.

If you had a five incher before and get a nine incher now, she might be a bit uncomfortable.

If you had a nine incher before and you decide to only invest in a five incher now, she might be disappointed.

The man agrees to talk it over with his wife.

The doctor comes back the next day, "So, have you spoken with your wife?"

"Yes I have," says the man.

"And has she helped you make a decision?"

"Yes," says the man.

"What is your decision?" asks the doctor.

"We're getting granite counter tops."

Jabra Elite Active 65T wireless earbuds 129chfat Microspot and 131chf at Digitec/Galaxus https://en.toppreise.ch/prod_531496.html

Basically the best rated true wireless earbuds for around half the price of anything comparable. Water resistant, too.

I received these today and initial impressions are very good. The charging case is compact and feels good quality and the earbuds themselves has reasonable sound quality and feel very well made. Most importantly they are also comfortable in my ear. For this price they are a bargain.

19.2 x 5.4 metre (yes, you read that right), 16K (yep, that too) micro-LED Sony TV. That's a 785" TV, if my high school maths memory serves me correctly!

OK, I'm not entirely sure it's a bargain as it's literally priceless, but as it's the only one in the world, I guess it has a certain value to somebody, somewhere...

MediaMarkt has the LG 43UK6400 for just CHF 369 as an Easter special, which is great for a UHD smart TV - if a measly 43 inches are enough for you, that is

Digitec has matched that price.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

I would love to upgrade to a 65"-75" screen, but am I crazy to say that I still love my plasma screen? Something about the LED/OLED just looks a bit off to me... though I do love it for watching sports.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

Can somebody tell me if they found a bargain pair of bluetooth headphones for running and a bargain bluetooth speaker for their cell, with solid bass sound? I have been looking for ages and am rather lost. I don't mind paying for quality but can't figure out what products are actually worth it.

OLED is superior to plasma in every respect worth bothering about. Most modern LED's are too, with some caveats.

The more expensive Ultimate Ears speakers are pretty good -especially for sound for larger areas but the much cheaper Anker Soundcore is more bassy and overall better than the cheaper UE speakers like the Wonderboom. (IMO)

Anker (70 CHF at Digitec or 37 CHF from DX in China.

The UE BOOM 2 is current only 99 CHF at Digitec (was 129 CHF).

Of course, you can spend a lot more to get a bigger, more powerful speaker.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

OMG... the 65" LG OLED C8 is now down to less than 2000chf... https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product...eise&pcscpId=1

The new LG OLED C9 series is about to his but it costs exactly 2x more at 4000chf and no way in hell is it 2x better... it has a few piture tweaks but basically only adds HDMI 2.1 as a new significant feature but for many people that won't matter.

Absolute bargain... I wonder if the 77" will come down significantly soon too...
