Very interesting but does anyone know if it's a good/robust one?

If anyone wondered the same thing:
bis 12 V*: kleinere Geräte für den Hausgebrauch, z.B. Mini-Akkuschrauber (household thing .... already threw one of those away once)
12 – 18 V*: hier bewegt man sich im klassischen Heimwerker-Bereich (DIY'er type, that would be the thing for me)
18 – 36 V*: jetzt haben wir Geräte für den professionelleren Einsatz erreicht

You will if you really need it and it breaks mid-job.

Reviews of Aldi work stuff seem decent online though.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

Build quality is good it is robust and it comes with a 3 year g'tee.

The reviews I have read say the drill and screw bits are not high quality but I already have several kits so I will use those.

It is worse if that 1% is also the alcohol content.

daydeal.ch (a special deal site from brack.ch) today has the Samsung UE50RU7170 for CHF 399, lowest historical price according to toppreise.

Good price for a basic 50" UHD Smart TV. See specifications here.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

LG OLED55C9M is currently available for 1'111.-

...good price BUT if you order it online with promo-code 20xtv you get 20x Cumulus points... that's 222.- you get in return for Migros goods and you can combine it with other cumulus points (like 2x if you got one from Migros).

Also works for other TV's (LG, Samsung, Philips, Panasonic and Sony)

I just bought the OLED65E9 (1899.-); added the promo-code + 2x culumus. Will get 417.- back

Maybe I'm the only one that gets excited about cheap tortilla chips, but this week you can get the Naturaplan tortilla chips (https://www.coopathome.ch/en/superma...hips/p/3754810) for about -.60/bag at Coop! It does require a coupon, but you can get it in the store. It seems like their system is messing up, but it's worked twice this week. All chips are 40% off this week (ends this Saturday!) and the coupon is in a grilling magazine that's generally close to the entrance of the store on the very last page. Happy snacking!

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

Hello,

Anyone has seen a deal for a laptop between 500 and 1000.- ?
Ideally with many connection possibilities, non reflecting screen and can last some years and where I can upgrade at least ssd and memory. It does not need to be extra mobile but a good battery life is of course appreciated too.

what i found so far:
https://www.melectronics.ch/fr/p/798...p-15s-eq0706nz
https://www.melectronics.ch/fr/p/798...-v512ja-ej200t but lacking a good gpu (although i don't play, i like to have balanced components)

Thank you

Just went to the toppreise site. There you can put in your desired config. Did a quick search for a lower end but still capable i5 (10th gen) and with a dedicated Nvidia gpu and came up with this listing: https://www.toppreise.ch/produktsuch...3%2bs~pa%2be~1

Then selected the cheapest in the list and got to here: https://www.galaxus.ch/de/s1/product...ntent=12380051

Seems to like a decent rig at a decent price (10% off too) and 2 hard drives. Acer is a decent brand. My personal experience with em has been good.
So there you go. My rec..

I had to replace my notebook as it's systematically falling apart. I wanted to go for cheap and got this Acer. The monitor is matt, although not mentioned on this site.
Check it out, it's good enough for what I need it for (got a pc as well). I updated it wo win-10 pro, then I had to go to intel to download a driver as the touchpad didn't work/was not visible neither in win-10 nor in the bios ) but if you know your way around you get it up and running the way it should and once that's done it's pretty neat actually.

I've notice lately that topppreise is not up to date. Once you know what you want it is worth doing your own research to get it for the best price.

Re: The "I found a deal/bargain" thread...

I was in the Fundsachenverkauf the other day and found a few great bargains!

One was two packs of D&D Spellbook Cards (Cleric & Ranger) for 5 francs ... when you generally pay anywhere between 25 & 40 francs per set.

Another was a Dakine messenger bag, which seems to be about 25L capacity, which also has a large number of pockets ... and two external water bottle holders!

Third was a complete set of Pass the Pigs, including the original game scorepad, for 3 francs! It brings back childhood memories for both my wife and I ... very pleasant ones, too (although within our separate families - we didn't meet until well after the pig-passing phase had passed).

It's a very pleasant place to shop ... and they do quite a few electrical goods, including auctioning some online (which you can pick up from the store to avoid postage fees). Their IT people are really good at cleaning up and checking the stuff before selling it ... I've never had a problem with anything I've bought from them!

... and no, I don't have shares or any commercial interest in their business ... but it is really good.
