Looking for alcohol in Lausanne

Is there anywhere in Lausanne that has a larger variety of alcohol besides the food stores and little shops. I'm looking for other brands like Kettle One, Crown Royal, Stoli etc...Stuff that is easily purchased in America.

Re: Alcohol in lausanne

The larger outlets require an official, affiliated dog walkers certificate to facilitat purchase.

You could also try the larger branches of Migros.

Most European outlets don't carry US beers, when there is a huge selection of superior quality beers to be found here ........ it's reserved for those who like making love in boats.

The names are meaningless ...... beer, liquor, whatever.

Try to adapt to what is available here, 'cos you're not in Kansas anymore.

Re: Alcohol in lausanne

Try the Aligro. They have a bit more selection, though I'm not sure if they have what you are looking for.

And please, please, please, for the sake of your taste buds, stop drinking Kettle One!

But speaking of American beer, I know they DO carry Sam Adams. And apparently they have Coors Light on sale!

Here is the website. They don't list all the products but they do list the sales.

You can never ask a simple question on here without some idiot turning it into a negative thing. If you cant help someone then why bother posting? Find something better to do than trolling around on here and irritating people.

To be fair, I thought from the opening post that you were looking for alcohol for cleaning purposes as opposed to drinking (Kettle One sounds like something for cleaning kitchen things, for example).

I've never heard of the brands you mention in your post. What kinds of drinks are they? Perhaps there are European equivalents you could try?

Re: Alcohol in lausanne

It's interesting that most of the pisstaking is reserved for those who seek American products.

If it's some obscure organic vegetable from Laos that the OP's after, then it's a whole different story.

I wonder why?

I'd say something like cuz Brits are Bucking Fastards but I'd be banned in 3.4 seconds by some Brit mod.

Everyone isn't.

You've received at least two good links so far.

Nobody is attacking you for asking a simple question... but if somebody said that it takes 2 seconds to google (no need to do it in French either), I'd salute them..

Because it's EF. And because Americans and American products are an easy target.

Go and find a thread asking for the whereabouts of Marmite in Switzerland and play some havoc. You'll feel better for it!
