Buying Shoes in Switzerland...

I don't know about you, but I have always had an impossible time buying shoes in Switzerland. It seems they are either super cheap or super expensive. And, they always hurt my feet.

However, today I discovered Paul Green Shoes from Germany. For the first time, in 25 years, I put on shoes and thought WOW! They are solid built, without being bulky, are classy and stylish and have soles prepared for European weather. The prices are really good, for their quality.

Although they are available in various stores, look up their website in Switzerland. http://www.greenmoon.ch

OR go to their cool shop in Au Wädenswil ( also amazing furniture and coffee bar!)

Just look for the zebra painted building.

BTW... i am not associated with this store...just glad to find good shoes, which look good, don't cost a fortune and don't hurt! Thought you might have a similar problem...

Re: Buying Shoes in Switzerland...

BTW... The owners are Swiss, German, South African and American... All kinds of languages going on here... Feels like you have landed in Tri Beca NY or So-Ho...

Relaxing and cool...place.

Great, I went to their website and found five pairs that I want to go see in person! I love well-made European shoes! Thanks.

Re: Buying Shoes in Switzerland...

I think they are closed on Mondays, so make sure and check their opening times. The best part, you can leave your husband/ partner at the coffee bar, while you shop.

Oh, I found a video about the store. Sorry, it is in German. Just the same, you can get an idea about how pleasant it is there.

Re: Buying Shoes in Switzerland...

Hello,

Thanks for the info! I will defiantly check out this store! I also find it hard to get shoes here and often have to wait until I am in Germany next.

Re: Buying Shoes in Switzerland...

Agree on the Paul Green shoes, fit very well and last a long time. Have mine for some years now and they are still nice!
