If you are in the unfortunate situation of not having a Flake bar, yes - both.
Done. The problem with Flake bars is that they... well, flake.

Well, first off, the advertising would have to be completely changed if they called them Cadbury's "Bar Bars", "Solid Bars", or "Neat Bars".

And... if you just open one end of the package and pour the whole thing into your gob in one go, the flakes go to the right place, and the flake bar can be enjoyed properly.

I gotta do the same. Follow the same rule I do: nothing I haven't worn 6-8mo stays.

I am tossing boots and shoes, too. They are so worn and leaky, and if I don't make myself toss them, I will never get new ones. I dislike buying shoes, all the annoying trying on stuff, ugh. FWP - getting new footwear.

True enough but, and this will make anyone who knows me IRL laugh their collective heads off, my mouth just isn't big enough. Flake crumbs in the cleavage linger stickily.

Thats what should do indeed. Instead im keeping everything that i havent worn in ages in case i want to wear it. And of course i keep all the things i wear all the time.

So far my tactic is to stick stuff in black bags in the cave so i know they are there in case i want to wear them. It works though because i discovered clothes in there that i forgot about and i realised i can really live without them!

Re: The First World Problem Thread

The bus was delayed so I have to run in the train station and reach my train just as the doors are closing. Always happens here, the trains are without fail a few minutes late unless I'm a little late.
But a saviour! One of the carriages seems to be having technical troubles and it's doors wont close so I jump on.
Only to be pushed off by some horrible little sbb woman screaming " no no no no no!"
This bloody country.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

As part of my registration as a teacher, I need to get a police check, both in Australia as well as from any other country where I have lived more than 12 months within the last 10 years. So that includes CH.

In fact, for CH, I need to order two different police checks - one for general records and one special one for working with vulnerable people.

So I thought I'd be smart. I place orders for both and print out all the required documentation. To save money, I use only one international mail envelope and place both orders and their documentation in the same envelope, which I thought will work since they both have to be sent to the same administrative address anyway. I clearly mark on the front that there are two orders in the envelope.

Fast forward a few weeks and only one criminal record check comes back successfully. I check the tracking status on the missing one and it appears that the documentation hasn't been sent, which I find bizarre. I email the support address and they say there is no evidence that I've sent the documentation for the missing record.

So, with no choice, I have to pay for another international mail envelope and resend a copy of the documents for the other record.

The person I am married to was suppose to be getting me ice cream, but he forgot.. and instead put the ice cream back into the freezer so now it's frozen hard.

I'm gutted.

How are you going to dispose of the body when the freezer is full?

Empty ice cream cartons come in very handy for chopped up body parts.

Waste not, want not, eh?

So... do you think there is a connection between him "forgetting" to take ice cream out of the carton, and your desire for empty cartons?

None of this helps, JagWaugh..

I do not want to think. I want ice-cream.

Try to focus on something else. Whatever you do don't think of blackcurrant and white chocolate ice cream... that would be an unfortunate thing to think of.
