Starting Westworld on episode 4 appears to have been a bad idea. No. Clue.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

After a worrying time with tummy troubles, I have finally found something to hide medicine in that the Belltie can keep down.

Fresh sushi-grade tuna.

Can't. Missed it. Can't find it elsewhere! The simultaneous multi-thread (and I assume multiple time) narratives are tricky, particularly when lots of the characters don't age!

Am having the same problem with The Missing. Since when did we need a higher level of education in order to watch TV? Or maybe that's just me

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Westworld.

There is a groundhog day feel to it at the start.. and it takes a little while to figure out who the hosts are and who the visitors/humans are.. then there are the technicians, game creators/narrators.. not to mention the mysterious connection hinted at between some of the staff and the hosts, and why some hosts seem more aware than others.. there are sections of the park that are off limits/or areas of the original park no longer in use - a mysterious world within a world? And to top it off: there is the struggle between the shareholders/owners/ success/profits and the original park creation/host creators/artistry.

Anthony Hopkins' character is the thread that loosely ties all together, or is he? If Hopkins is good or evil remains to be seen; he certainly has a dark edgeness to him - he's very watchable, mesmerizing in fact.

I will watch episode 8 this week. Episode 7 blew me away, never expected..

Xmas lights and decorations. Next year I might suggest to the neighbors to put them up in September.

At least The Missing is all on BBC Iplayer - or PM for a synopsis!

I assume some of the techs/ "people" are just other hosts who don't know it and are cheaper than real people. Ish. I'm also wondering who Ed Harris' character will turn out to be.

Maybe I'll stop for now and get the whole thing on DVD later.

Stressful day, good riddance to it.

In my PJs ready to chill but my scrabble app won't work and there's no chocolate.

Me too, up in the wee small hours with a sick child. Read your post at 3 am, but was too tired to tap any keys to respond

I feel your pain. LR finally stopped throwing up at 4, slept from 5 ... and was awake demanding juice and crackers at 9.

There isn't enough caffeine in the world today. Am seriously considering a chocolate-only lunch... she's on toast!

Running out of blue paperclips and blue plastic folders, to keep company documents together, which is throwing the matching colour scheme with the company logo out.

I don't get paid enough for this kind of upset.

This weekend I decided to make a start on the christmas lights. Finding their usual storage box to be empty I checked the tree, and lo and behold, they were still there since last year. I just changed the battery and they came back to life.

Finished watching the news, shouted out to my son he can watch Top Gear now, as TV's free. Shouted back: It's the Grand Tour, you can not call it Top Gear anymore..

Could a Mother get any thicker.. why didn't I know that?
