Daredevil? Charlie Cox is easy on the eye.
Jessica Jones? Luke Cage?

My new healthy diet is providing more energy than I can reasonably use as a sedentary office worker

Mr Rufus evidently forgot the word for beef when he went to the butcher.

We are having veal stir fry for tea...

Re: The First World Problem Thread

This week is Thanksgiving, and, like most years, we are spending it with our Chilean-American friends in Los Angeles, which equals grilling the turkey by the pool in 25C degree weather while we sip on pisco sours the whole afternoon.

Except...I am off alcohol for the foreseeable future, so no piscos this year for me

Starting Westworld on episode 4 appears to have been a bad idea. No. Clue.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

After a worrying time with tummy troubles, I have finally found something to hide medicine in that the Belltie can keep down.

Fresh sushi-grade tuna.

Can't. Missed it. Can't find it elsewhere! The simultaneous multi-thread (and I assume multiple time) narratives are tricky, particularly when lots of the characters don't age!

Am having the same problem with The Missing. Since when did we need a higher level of education in order to watch TV? Or maybe that's just me

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Westworld.

There is a groundhog day feel to it at the start.. and it takes a little while to figure out who the hosts are and who the visitors/humans are.. then there are the technicians, game creators/narrators.. not to mention the mysterious connection hinted at between some of the staff and the hosts, and why some hosts seem more aware than others.. there are sections of the park that are off limits/or areas of the original park no longer in use - a mysterious world within a world? And to top it off: there is the struggle between the shareholders/owners/ success/profits and the original park creation/host creators/artistry.

Anthony Hopkins' character is the thread that loosely ties all together, or is he? If Hopkins is good or evil remains to be seen; he certainly has a dark edgeness to him - he's very watchable, mesmerizing in fact.

I will watch episode 8 this week. Episode 7 blew me away, never expected..

Xmas lights and decorations. Next year I might suggest to the neighbors to put them up in September.
