Re: The First World Problem Thread

As Santa puts pressies under the tree for us parents too (the little girl in our house gets upset if Santa forgets Mummy & Daddy), just realized I'll have to wrap an empty perfume box as I have run out and can not wait until the 25th.

They'll be too busy to notice. I just have to make all the right noises when I unwrap the empty box, then go hide it

The Rufus Hound is too comfortable on "her" sofa to stir herself to bark at the Amazon delivery dude. All he got was a raised hairy eyebrow.

Buggerlugs cat is being the same. He's made a nest on the bed and is only moving between there and his food cupboard, except for one venture outside where he sniffed the air and went straight back to bed.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I knew the exact answer for a chess puzzle. However, due to fat finger syndrome or a sketchy touch screen, I moved a piece to the wrong square (right next to the correct one) and stuffed up the solution.

Instead of +8 points, I got -5 points.

Santa puts pressies under the tree
Used to happen when I was a kid too & grandma would always have a grope trying to guess what was inside, until one Christmas a match from her fag went unnoticed down the side of her armchair & we were all woken up at 2am with the house ablaze. Goodbye entire contents of lounge including tree, presents, the ceiling, the floor & her only pair of shoes. So this is why you should never sleep wearing a homemade nightshirt & stripey socks with holes in them 'cos the poor firemen don't need that view.

My First World Problem today is I can't find the hoover bags. I know I bought some but where are they hiding?

My FWP today is: I need to hoover. And reorganise the kitchen cupboards.
