I'm still kicking myself that i didn't buy more gold household items, given the rise in the price of gold in the last few years.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

When watching tv, my dog likes to snuggle up nose to tail with me with her farty end near my nose, she practically ruined the last episode of the walking dead for me! i rolled over and repaid her a few though.

you see what people don't tell you is that life in the west can be brutal too you know.

By mistake I used the soothing and calming evening shower gel this morning instead of the energizing morning shower gel. Needless to say, because of that, some noob spam deputies beat me to the punch.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

ladies of the third world, if you want to come over to the first world you'll have to suck this up.

in addition to doing all the things you normally did in the third world, finding, bringing home and cooking food, cleaning, laundry and taking care of all your children's and husbands needs, you'll a.l.s.o be expected to get a job for 12 hours a day, surely she's joking you're thinking..

did i mention, you'll be paid a third less than a man but you will a.l.s.o be expected to pay for half of everything (yes you read that right) because in the first world the sexes are equal

and if your resentment and indignation starts boiling over into anger, stop!

and suck it up ladies

because thats the way its been here in the first world for the last 50 years.

oh did i forget to mention, you'll be expected to do all this in 3 inch heels that hurt so bad you'll want to cry!

but don't expect any help from the geneva convention on this one ladies, No! you'll be expected to swallow this pill too.

The First World Problem Thread

Flying to the US, got upgraded to business but no window.

Got to the US, connecting flight canceled, got free room and $50 food voucher. Voucher doesn't pay for alcohol. Had to pay for own drinks! The idea! ;-p

Oh, and I'm up typing this because of jet lag. Sigh.

That TV would look nice in my apartment. I'd probably save upto 100 CHF a year on cinema tickets, so it'd pay for itself in, well... no time.

I must decide between the countless qualified and highly educated local dentists to repair my teeth or possibly wait until I go on holiday in Thailand, to save some money.

Why can't Swiss biscuits stand up to the rigours of being dunked in tea?

Re: The First World Problem Thread

this first world 'problem' is not going to change

in the first world people love their dogs (and cats though i don't see how) more than humans, including some family members, orphans, widows, the destitute, those without hope, most residents in the third world and the sick

get over it

Re: The First World Problem Thread

you know people in the third world think we in the first world don't have tough decisions to make every day

just this morning i had to decide whether to buy the dry_frapo_carmelito_with_extra_shot_caramel_double _expresso_skim_soya_with_wipped_cream_topping_and_ chocolate_sprinkles_grande at starbucks or give the money to feed half a village in the sudan.

i can tell you though it thankfully turned out easier than it sounds

Or I would rather ask how many ensuite bathrooms do you have in your rented apartment? whereas I'm basking in the sun of my 5-bedroom mansion at the swimming pool sipping piña colada?
