The "view first unread" button is absolutely useless. Every time I check, there are one or two pages before the post it jumps on that I haven't read - from the same day.

In a workroom below our flat we have two bicycles and a 'Rolle' which is our winter cycle training.
To compensate for lack of scenery and zero altitude gain, Mr. Longbyt and I each have a Garmin which registers speed, heart-rate, calories used, distance, cadence etc. which information has always been transfered to the computers by USB cable. The device was afterwards 'kept handy'.for next time.

After searching the whole flat for the Garmin this afternoon, Mr.L finally realised that in spite of the details on the computer being up to date the Garmin had not been in the flat at all..It had been left downstairs. The latest update transfers the information automatically.
I'm not able to keep-up with Longbyts technology posts

Me: I'll just watch one more episode of Stranger Things on Netflix, and then I'll go out and buy something nice and healthy for dinner.

Narrator: But deep down she knew that there is no such thing as 'just one more episode'. Meanwhile, the Chinese takeaway menu peeks conspiratorially from the kitchen drawer.

I was actually wondering about that too the other day
I think the camera captures what the others see, while the mirror is inverted. Which means, should one think s/he's pretty s/he's probably the only one

We have too much stuff.

And I have just "had" to Googlefoo the term "perineal education" from another thread. Every day is indeed a school day.

She wanted to play with hopes of winning and now she moans about it? Easy option, don't play.

And next time take the advice of the expert Camelot provides for you.

Note she makes no mention of giving all her money/assets accumulated via the lottery away.

Some people are never satisfied.

Too stupid to spend a million, too stupid to give it away.

Is The Independent now competing with Buzzfeed?

And how many more millions does she want from the Euromillions to ease that pain?

She bought two properties

The silly thing is it is only a million. These days a million will change your life, but not massively like 100 million would. A million is a nice sum to set you up perfectly and make life easy, without forcing massive changes in your lifestyle.

She really is taking the biscuit.

Planning to watch the football on a French channel tonight whilst listening to the commentary on 5Live, and I JUST KNOW that the radio will be two seconds ahead.

That must be new. The Duplo sheep didn't have shoes when our kids were young.

It's an impoverished sheep. I should be grateful it wasn't the giraffe, I suppose.
