Re: The First World Problem Thread

I have made myself a cauldron of pumpkin soup & burnt my tongue trying to drink some before it's cooled down.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Last Friday night I ordered some pizza online, and wanted to pay by cash and tip the delivery guy. I didn't have anything smaller than a 100, so ended up having to order more food.

The week before that, I made myself a Bloody Mary, and was dismayed to find that I didn't have any celery for garnish. Started sizing up some broccoli for the job... Desperate times...

Waiting for more Harry Potter play tickets to be released is oddly stressful. I think it's the clock counting down ...

Even more tedious is having to locate your mouse pointer across three high resolution screens.

Two possible helps:
  • Right click (or press the menu key on the keyboard). Quite likely that'll bring up a context menu which should be easy enough to find.
  • In the Mouse properties of the Control Panel, turn on the sonar function, turn on mouse trails and turn off hide while typing (in that preference order).

There is a Europe-wide shortage of courgettes and yet all we hear about is Trump and Brexit.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Spilt a small amount of soup on my Mac last night, and now neither the RETURN, full^- stop nor h^- key works (stop) wondering if they will be able to release the potato and / or leek in the MAC Store (which also causes my screen to go into uncontrolled zoom), or whether I'll (apostrphes call u the Oxforn English Dictionary amongst other woes), or whether I'll need to invest in a new friend

The air is too dry. My hygrometer says 36% which is low but shouldn't cause the problems I'm starting to have. And now laundry to wash or iron .....
