Re: The First World Problem Thread

While doing a bit of sleuthing I looked at one of the free ad sites' animal section.

Now every time I surf EF winsome puppy eyes pleading for a home stare at me.

The supermarket didn't have raspberry jam doughnuts. The Small Person in my life is having to make do with Strawberry.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

On Saturday Mr Longbyt reminded me that Garmin have issued an update which I should have installed. I said I hadn't done it yet so I handed the gadget over so that he could do it when he did his own. 'No, not that Garmin. That's the one you use on your racing bike on the roller in the cellar.' I dug around and give him my hiking Garmin. 'No, that's the hiking one. I want the Garmin you have for your ebike!'.

The sugar crust on my after dinner creme brulee wasn't hard enough.

Did you raise your voice at the cook?

(An underdone scream creme is nothing to keep quiet about!)

I just sulked.. and wondered what have I done wrong in this life to deserve such a thing.

They're everywhere. I ran across this one the other day while trying to match a paint code:

I've just opened a packing box that contains, amongst other things, three odd Birkenstocks.

Despite their marketing, McDonald's is a fastfood joint and not a McCafe.

I brought bircher to uni for a royal breakfast just to realize I cleaned my bag and left my spoon home. Bags should not be cleaned. Ever.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Left a note on the door to the delivery guy to leave my parcel in the porch, thinking that it would be better then having to arrange a time that suited everybody, I was waiting for some bamboo blinds I ordered online. When I got home I noticed the box was just a little too large, OK I thought well at least they packed it securely, but it also weighed way too much to be just a bamboo blind, blow me I was right, it contained a really, really, tacky faux leather bed frame, bugger, now I have to arrange for the company to pick it up and bring me my blind. And its not even a nice bed frame so I wouldn't even consider keeping it.

The power socket in this hotel room is nowhere near the bed, so my iPhone and I will have to sleep apart

Still nothing to watch on Netflix..
Netflix is busy sending out emails (or maybe stop hackers from doing that).
I just received an email, that my Netflix membership has been suspended.
Only trouble is: I do not have a Netflix membership

My new iPhone 7+ came with "a weird headset plug". I cannot connected to my HP notebook at work without adapter. I always keep forgetting getting one from Digitec.

This morning's apple is too big for even the most determined of Small People's teeth. (No, cutting it up was apparently not an option today).
