Did question is, though, did you have a place to park?

I know...I know.

They had to use public transport, like total losers! SAD!

(Also, the night supplement was a total rip off too.. and the taxi driver wanted more than an average Thai earns in a week!)
Haha no, we actually walked to the movie theater and back, it was a very warm evening. Loser level: MAX!

Hahahahah. Exactement!

Another question is, did they have a curry in a subpar resto afterwards?
I had prepared and we enjoyed a homemade dinner before we went to the movie! Ravioli

Could not find a table in the sunshine at a popular restaurant!!! Had to settle for a semishade... Day ruined...

And the tasty food on my plate finished before I was full...

Damn your keen eyes, BM

Actually, I ended up watching a fascinating historical documentary and had to stop knitting to read the quotes which kept popping up on the screen.

Having to drink water with my lunch because the cap of my Coke is on too tight for me to undo and it's too **cringe** to go to the company on the same floor to ask them to do it.

I feel your pain.

Literally.

As I grow older and creakier, at times lacking the strength or dexterity to open a Coke bottle for consumption on the run, I have had to resort to sit down meals at nice restaurants.

Maybe I should give that a go, I never seem to experience difficulties removing a cork from a bottle.

My grandmother used to swear by using rubber gloves for stubborn lids but I didn't have any of those in the office either...

I guess that's my second FWP of the day: Damn office has got a dishwasher so there are no rubber gloves when you need them to open a fizzy drink.

Switzerland? Quality of life? My life is over.

Yes I too use a rubber glove at home to open stubborn lids.

New items for your handbag, SG: a nutcracker and a rubber glove.. just don't let anyone see, could be embarrassing when out for after work Friday night drinks

A rubber band around the lid works as well as gloves; just keep a couple of rubber bands in your desk to help your weedy hands.
