There is, as Belgianmum so well named it, a “Groundhog Day”-thread about Zurich’s being regarded as having a high quality of life.... and it is going on and on because so many of us have time and technology available to participate in or to read it!

My iPhone didn't sync properly with my Fitbit and I had to manually move the fitbit time myself when the clocks went forward.

That's 30 seconds of my life I'll never see again.

My business trip was cancelled for a reason last week but my private CC has still been debited. Tomorrow, I will have to notify the admin at work about this unnecessary payment.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

We watched a late-night movie (the King Kong one) at a movie theater where you can buy a drink at the bar and bring it with you in the theater. There we were, whiskeys in hand, enjoying the movie. However, we wanted refills but the bar closed halfway through the movie!!! Talk about things that lower your quality of life!

Did question is, though, did you have a place to park?

I know...I know.

They had to use public transport, like total losers! SAD!

(Also, the night supplement was a total rip off too.. and the taxi driver wanted more than an average Thai earns in a week!)

Hahahahah. Exactement!

Another question is, did they have a curry in a subpar resto afterwards?

Darn it. My FWP - uni is packed, on Sunday. And, there are lot of really noisy nasal voices around.

And no alcohol with it

Back to matching topics for this thread..

At the taxes right now (like probably around 2 million other Swiss..) It took me like 1 hour to figure out all the expenses I can deduct.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Our local Aperto recently closed for a couple of days and reopened with all Coop products.

On the one hand, it's great to have things like birch water and Sbrinz cheese. On the other hand, though, I'm really going to miss the random American and British products that would turn up for a couple of weeks every now and then.

I want my old Aperto back!

Damn your keen eyes, BM

Actually, I ended up watching a fascinating historical documentary and had to stop knitting to read the quotes which kept popping up on the screen.
The swedish subtitled movie knitted purple square with dropped stitches is still here.. a sorry state
