There is too much chocolate in the house. I'm going to have to do some scoffing stock control.

My son has bought fizzy tangy sour haribos two weekends in a row and I don't like them.

When your kids are watching a movie and you hear the harry potter theme tune but ask them if jurassic park is good.

And then you get the *my-parent-is-completely-thick* look.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

After 6 weeks of infructuous search, we finally found the remote control of the TV. In the spare printer in a corner of the living room.

Sometimes living with a toddler is just like living with your demented 80 y.o. granny

Goodness, I'm going to report you to the Daily Mail, sign you-up for Jeremy Kyle, and then escalate it to social services (at least this is what's expected if I follow (and am potentially addicted to) UK media from here over the years.

With such a transient up-bringing, according to other on-going threads, they obviously need a stabile upbringing here .

After canine tummy troubles meant CHF 500 to clean my silk carpets - twice - the carpets have been in storage for 10 years and 5 dogs now.

(initial set-up cost of said 5 dogs together was well under 3000 though. Running costs, on the other hand... )

I have kids and don't have a carpet, nor a life

Remember the saying/decision: get a dog and ruin your carpets or have a child and ruin your life

No kids, no dog, no carpet. The money just keeps piling up in my bank account and I don't know what to spend it on.

Now that's a proper FWP.

If you insist on the gate you might be dragged off the plane.

I have a kid, a dog, and a carpet. The dog is not the same colour as the carpet. I do therefore have a kick-arse hoover.
