Sounds like the hound is a good judge of character.
She is. And a dreadful flirt.

Have to find a new apartment before 01.07.2017 but unfortunately Comparis Property App crashes after upgrading to iOS 10.3.1.

At the moment my idea of a great holiday would be a week of peace spent tending my garden.
Amen to the third!

I still travel a lot, but whereas before I was always super-eager to travel, in the last few months my personal scale has been consistently tipping in favor of being home.

It went from: will travel everywhere for work and fun --> would rather not travel for work --> would rather just stay home.

I am always happy to see family and friends, but it is not holiday - it's family/friends time.

My ideal holiday entails: walking around my neighborhood, going to the neighborhood market and picking out fruits, vegetables, cheeses while chatting with the vendors for a few minutes, sitting at our neighborhood cafe with a cup of tea and a book/my writing/my cross-stitching, doing house projects, watching all the movies I wish to, cooking.

Alas...

That's probably not the only problem in finding a flat in such a short time.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Took the sd card out of my camera, stuck it in my PC to copy the fotos.
Put the card back in camera and could not take fotos any more.

Who knew these SD cards have a little slide switch to turn on Write Protection

I wanted to annoy the jerk who was tailgating me by slowing down, but I was already running late.

I activated Touch ID on my phone for my right hand and now I can't use my right arm so I have to enter the numbers using my left.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Allergies are killing me, cherry blossoms be darned.

I have to work from home, e.g. my couch. But that's not all of it - the made-to-measure side table, which is just the perfect height for me to be lazy and not have to move from laying on the chaise at all, only has space for either my computer or my cup of tea, not both. So, in order to grab my tea, I actually have to move from my comfortable position on the chaise and grab the cup from the main coffee table. This kind of defeats the purpose of having a side table in the first place.

Life is hard.

I no longer have 4 different saunas available, only 3. And then it is back home to 1.

And, my nylons aren't completely my skin tone. Grrrr. Nylons and make-up, always the same story. White chicks woes.

There is too much chocolate in the house. I'm going to have to do some scoffing stock control.

When your kids are watching a movie and you hear the harry potter theme tune but ask them if jurassic park is good.

And then you get the *my-parent-is-completely-thick* look.

After 6 weeks of infructuous search, we finally found the remote control of the TV. In the spare printer in a corner of the living room.

Sometimes living with a toddler is just like living with your demented 80 y.o. granny

Goodness, I'm going to report you to the Daily Mail, sign you-up for Jeremy Kyle, and then escalate it to social services (at least this is what's expected if I follow (and am potentially addicted to) UK media from here over the years.

With such a transient up-bringing, according to other on-going threads, they obviously need a stabile upbringing here .
