Actually, I didn't agree HERE, I agreed THERE, but some annoying mod (who will remain unnamed) moved it HERE!

Today, the person in front of me in the supermarket at the 12 items- or- less- till clearly had 13!
I would do that, as revenge for people not knowing the difference between less and fewer.

The supermarket won't mind: there won't be fewer money in the till.

and always this stupid question " do you collect stamps ". That delays me at least by 2 seconds to say no and when that is done with every customer then at the end of the day hours are lost-productivity is lost. For that reason I always go to self check out and adopt the rule " this one pay, this one not"

Yep, and the choice seems difficult, considering the time it takes them. I solve that problem by telling them "give them to the lady in front of me" who is still packing up her stuff.

I have to go to a birthday party and I can't decide what to wear. Also, I'm not allowed to drink for awhile. It's going to be exhausting 3+ hours socializing.

It's nearly summer after all, sleeping naked is perfectly acceptable.

Few shots of brandy may serve a temporary cure for arachnophobia ...

No way, I will stay as alert as I can! I'm willing to drown the spider in brandy though
Two days ago I bragged I was over that phobia - that will teach me! (But this thing was 2 cm big at least and faaaast).

I love that problem.

I gotta cross half of Europe in a few hours again. Urghhhh. And I am pretending those suitcases over there do not need to be packed yet.

It might have been pregnant and it might be laying eggs at that very moment! you have no choice but moving to a new place!

As a fellow arachnophobic that's what I would do anyway...

A rather big spider darted across my table" (quote not working again)
I shouted at the kids for splatting one this morning in the kitchen & not cleaning it up. I went to get the hoover. Child came into the kitchen & said "it's not a spider; I dropped some coffee".

It must have been coffee dropped instead of spider. Otherwise it would have rained today but it's scorching heat ...

The other day I told the train conductor that the time given in the tables is the DEPARTURE TIME not the time the train arrives at the station.
