Re: The First World Problem Thread

Checked out EF at about three this morning and there wasn't a single member on line except me. And I so felt like writing caustic replies to silly questions.

It's a beautiful day, again, and I'm stuck holding the bed down after picking up the stomach bug to end all stomach bugs from LR's playgroup. She's fine though. So I suppose I took one for the team...

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Sorry to hear that RufusB, hope you feel better soon.

I'm having a forgetful day. Forgot to keep an eye on Sunday lunch so that got a bit burnt, almost forgot to get the hamburger patties out of the freezer to defrost for dinner, forgot to get the hamburger buns out of the freezer to defrost for dinner and now just realised I forgot to get a new loaf of sliced bread out of the freezer to defrost to make hubby's sandwich for lunch tomorrow. Is it National Forgetful Day or something? Think I better tootle off to bed before I forget something else today and hope I'm not so forgetful tomorrow.

I have a soviet foot.

Or maybe if it was a soviet foot, it would be gone, totally. But it feels like a neanderthal robocop.

Well, I twisted my ankle at home and they offered to either keep me in CZ a few extra days while I am ordering a sleek light and French ski boot looking thingie or, get this horrid heavy commie thing. Damn. I bet if I accidently tripped and fell in the lake, I would drown.

Thanks, Roof, it is ok, no drama. Just miss my daily runs.

Amazon says parcel was handed to resident. However said resident and all her family were out at the time.

Manor. Awesomeness. I saw this there yesterday:

My FWP is that we got already a few so it makes no sense to get more..How fidgety must one be to justify one more?

Re: The First World Problem Thread

What the hell has happened to Volvo pricing? I thought I'd check to see how much a decent spec XC90 comes out at - 100k

That's 10k north of a similar spec Discovery - which scarily is the same price as a similarly specced X3 - although the X3 would have a higher fleet discount.

Luckily I was already sitting down.
