You're correct. They're just pretenders (sorry, German) .... and always have been apparently.

Well no, man made rules supposedly handed down by God tell you that. Unless you have a direct link to him take whatever anyone else says about what he wants you to do with a big pinch of salt.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

The spider is dead, RIP. I killed it. In self defence of course.
It just didn't seem to be able to aproach me at a normal/non attacking speed - but this time I was fast.
Sorry I derailed the therad ... but the story definitely ends here.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Had that in Scotland one morning, woke up to find a HUGE spider on my shoulder. The usual happened, then hubby looked at me and said to go back to sleep. With a spider in that room?????? Only after dismantling half the room we found the bugger under my mattress.........

Poor spider. They're your friends eating those other buggy-wuggies that you don't want in the house.

I did say I had a long term deal with it about exactly that. When someone else broke it's net it should not have attacked me

That one was not to be caught! It was a turbo one

Anyhow, we're derailing this thread. But only because Castro seems to be enjoying a problem-free time (or has real problems, which I don't hope).

Funnily enough in Malaysia most Muslims seem to be smart enough to drink/eat as they please during the day..

Crazy "rules" for crazy people I suppose.

Look at it from the bright side i.e. you're fully assimilated into Swiss culture:

Checked out EF at about three this morning and there wasn't a single member on line except me. And I so felt like writing caustic replies to silly questions.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

It's a beautiful day, again, and I'm stuck holding the bed down after picking up the stomach bug to end all stomach bugs from LR's playgroup. She's fine though. So I suppose I took one for the team...

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Sorry to hear that RufusB, hope you feel better soon.

I'm having a forgetful day. Forgot to keep an eye on Sunday lunch so that got a bit burnt, almost forgot to get the hamburger patties out of the freezer to defrost for dinner, forgot to get the hamburger buns out of the freezer to defrost for dinner and now just realised I forgot to get a new loaf of sliced bread out of the freezer to defrost to make hubby's sandwich for lunch tomorrow. Is it National Forgetful Day or something? Think I better tootle off to bed before I forget something else today and hope I'm not so forgetful tomorrow.
