Thank you, Mr J.

You've made my day
wait, wait, it gets better.

What comes after democraticdisestablishmentarianism?

antedemocraticdisestablishmentarianism

or perhaps

postdemocraticdisestablishmentarianism

then

antepostdemocraticdisestablishmentarianism.

or is postantedemocraticdisestablishmentarianism more mellifluous?

Somebody passed an exam they trained for last four years, every day. And we did not make it to an open toy store today.

Oh my, oh my, oh my.

That sounds like dinner at MacD's, a whole 24 box of your favourite ice cream sandwiches, a 50l bag of popcorn, and an evening consuming all this on mommy's bed while watching much loved DVDs.

And a trip to the toy store first thing in the morning.

That sounds too nice to be real.

We gotta get up at 6am for another competition.

There's madness in my method.

You only have to allow a child 24 magnums and a dumpster sized bowl of popcorn once. Thereafter they become self regulating.

It's a mess to clean up that one time, but trust me on this.

Oh I have followed the same method with myself since I was about three and with my mini-me: it was mostly "how about a dessert first so you don't end up thinking regular healthy food is a punishment to work through to one's reward".

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I had a question. I took time and trouble formulating it clearly, so that I could open a new thread to ask it.
Then I used the search function.
Others have been before me, and asked and answered my question.
Bah! I had all that work for nothing!

Re: The First World Problem Thread

The Election and then a sick child yesterday meant very little sleep for two nights on the trot.

I am incredibly cranky.

It's all Mrs May's fault.

If you'd stop fidgeting and get back here, then you could add worrying about terrorism in the U.K. to your sleepless nights list

Mix the powders all together then divide back up into the right weight, then make one.

When people ask what flavor it is, tell them Jallo.
