I parked as best I could next to someone who had done an awful job of it. That person left and now it looks like I don't know how to park | The following 7 users would like to thank Castro for this useful post:

Thing was, there were just two spaces, one against a wall on driver's side, and one open on passenger side. He'd parked a good 50cm into the space, leaving the driver's door dead on the white line, so the only way the other space could possibly be used was by blocking his door and making him climb across from the passenger side. Wtf did he expect?

By the time I get hungry I don't care about all the ecolo/recycled/hipster containers I eat and drink from, when I am on the go. Meh.

You might have to shout while you're on the phone with them - when the weather gets like this the entire IT department finds something in the server room which needs their attention, so when they pick up the phone the noise of the A/C in the background may make it hard for them to hear you. | | | | | When I ran a computer centre then in hot weather I always finished up being the idiot on the roof spraying the a/c condensers with a hosepipe | This user would like to thank marton for this useful post:

The dramatic pauses before announcing the right answer or a winner have gone beyond 5 seconds! Or they even cut to commercials! Oh for ... Sake...
Half of 30 mins are now the proverbial drumrolls...
BBC's Pointless is a rare exception though...

I've had the BBC News channel on in the background for four hours now, and I'm actually starting to believe what these politicians are saying.
Must. Turn. Over. (Before it's too late and there's no turning back)

My mother sent me a text telling me how hot it is in the UK. Well, I wasn't having that. So we've just spent the last half hour in 'Yorkshire-Men Sketch' fashion trying to one-up each other on who is the most hard done-by.
"32 degrees?! I used to dream of 32 degrees!"

- Retreat to far end of computer room where you can't hear the phone.
