Ewok has no particular reputation at present
Re: The First World Problem Thread

I wanted/had to study in the weekend but the birthay party at Saturday and the drinks and following games at Sunday ruined my plans. The start of the week is not much better. I have more social life here than at home and I barely keep up with the tempo :/

I realised I was getting a bit wide at the seams because of too much knitting.

I put the needles down, got my walking shoes on and it started to rain.

I don't think the knitting ladies care about my well padded arse...
I find it's the cake...

It's raining here too. Great weather for ducks.

neddy apparently lives in her pyjamas.... at least, that's her goto excuse for not socialising with the rest of us EFers.
If I socialise with you, I will have to stop being so rude on here. I shall remain a woman of mystery.

Did my book-keeping. Instead of feeling relieved about the task being done, I feel down about the money I've been relieved from.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

The chateau and vineyard that we are buying in the south of France is apparently owned by a British financial advisor and his clients in the Ukrainian mob. Unfortunately, one of the mobsters is wanted by Interpol in 22 countries. Our poor lawyers in Marseille are scrambling to find a way for us to buy this without Scotland Yard descending upon our heads.

I'm moving around so much I have no time to repack, nor do laundry...nor open the luggage, in fact.

My suitcase is turning into a mini biodome

When my lease runs out I'll probably get another Beemer, I just wish other manufacturers would catch up so I can have some semblance of choice.

I do not even have the time to register how hard the water is at the places I stay. Not sure if not knowing is better than staying put at one place being aware of just how hard the water is and and all the fuss it entails.

My go-to lingerie boutique didn't have the colour I wanted in my size. Will have to wait for the order to arrive.

They've fitted some kind of water softening device where I live.

The reduction in chalk build up on my kettle and coffee machine is quite noticeable.
