Surely camping is a Third World Problem? Nobody in the First World should be forced to endure that sort of misery.
I take it glamping hasn't made it to CH yet?

No misery. Nooooo.

Though the temps certainly were not glamorous. Still managed to spend the entire day today in the water.

(I am not a big fan of glamping, tbh, if I can rough it otherwise...but it is still amazing, as any camping)

Men phone to say they are still alive but don't want you to actually reply to the question "how are you?".

You notice that now?
The best bit is when you have bad news and they say "I'm glad ...." With friends like that who needs enemies

To clarify,I did NOT ask for a status update of whether life is still going on. No news = good news. I am on holiday. 24/7 is on hold. You're away = slave labour is temporarily unavailable. Thanks you for the news that you are enjoying yourself.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

The Ölz sandwich bread from Coop has changed something and the bread isn't the right consistency anymore. I wasted a whole meal's worth of Cheddar and Parma ham, and now I have to eat less than perfect grilled cheese.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I found the wholemeal sandwich from Aldi to be really good (and way cheaper than anything Coop or Migros offer) and an excellent choice for grilled sandwiches.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I did some shopping in France, had dinner in Germany and then filled up in Switzerland, all on the same evening.

Those ever-vigilante folk at UBS credit card services were quick to phone me up and query the odd card useage.

I explained that I'm from Basel and thats how we roll

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I calculated benefits of keeping savings using CS's Bonivia package versus PF package. The difference was CHF100 per annum in favour of the PF.

Negative interest rate cleverly hidden in account's fees seems to be a FWP in CH.
