I'm not sure if I should grill in the oven 5 or 6 chicken wings tonight. I might not be as hungry as I was few hours ago .

At lunch two of my follicly challenged colleagues were discussing REGAINE®, but I felt I had nothing to contribute, what with my full head of hair.

Our au pair keeps changing the default Netflix language setting to Italian. If she wasn't so great with the kids I might have made a bigger deal about it.

Silly you, who uses electric fans nowadays anyway...don't you care about the environment?!
My Diesel powered fan has yet to turn over a page in my book.

She's at wor...wait, the hairy one, she's curled up on the couch and does suffer a bit from the heat. I keep her in a well ventilated room and change her water frequently.

Cat sitting for my neighbours, today introduced the middle-aged cat to some special cat milk. She absolutely loved it. I am dreading telling my neighbours that, oh yeah, you should start buying posh milk for your cat! It ain't cheap btw...

I am not a cat expert, but i have never seen an elderly cat drink the stuff in such an undignified and greedy way.
I think i shall have to buy a year's worth of that stuff and give it to my neighbours...

Maybe she doesn't get given milk at home. Not all cats are fans of the stuff. My last cat only asked for some very, very occasionally. Otherwise preferred water.

I am cackling! The proper FWP: the cat that is not even mine may cost me 100s of francs in food despite the fact that i don't understand its eating preferences!

Then that's your real First World Problem. Neighbours who ask you to look after their cat and don't even provide food/drink for it!

Congratulations! I think you have now got part ownership of a cat.

It will sleep at the neighbours, but have its meals at yours.. and might eventually move in with you.

Gotta love cats, terribly smart

It's not really necessary for cats to have milk and in many cases may actually be bad for them. Cats are very often lactose intolerant and normal milk gives them diarrhoea. If you want to given them milk then give them special cat milk but all they really need is a supply of fresh water to keep them hydrated.

I'd not think too much about it. In fact, nothing about it at all.

Yes, some people who drop out of school indeed manage to make a great life afterwards. But the majority won't be better off.

And MANY. Actually, more than just MANY, I'd say almost all of those posting those pictures from "their" expensive cars, their "luxury holidays", are actually living on the edge.

A rental car / a leased Aston Martin doesn't have to be expensive, or at least being affordable, if you skip other expenses I'd prefer to have..

And an expensive house doesn't mean anything either. With current interest rates, you can easily get a really expensive house. There are reasons why the Swiss housing market is still stable, despite being crazy expensive..

A week of holidays in Dubai at a 5* in summer is actually CHEAPER than a week in a Swiss hotel in the mountains (3*). Summer is low season, both for flights as well as accommodation there. 5* Sofitel for 40€ a night, incl. breakfast..

All of their locals are in Interlaken anyway, driving on the wrong side of the road in a tunnel, or getting stuck at a train crossing..
