My Miele oven is so well insulated that the tea towel I hang on the front stays perpetually soggy

I asked a US colleague to bring me over some Root beer flavoured Dum-Dums, she brought butterscotch instead.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Little Rufus managed to leave her My Little Pony hat in one of the three places we've been today. We either have to retrace our steps and hope someone found it and handed it in to Lost Property, or we have to go and buy a new one. Apparently none of her other hats will do because they don't have a swishy tail.

I planned a quiet day at home because they said it was going to be raining cats and dogs.

It's not raining.

Unfortunately, with the temperature drop I have no more valid excuses to give myself to not do any ironing. The pile is huge!!

My new teapot holds slightly more water than the kettle. I either need a new kettle or should drink less tea...

Did you have to mention that?
I was just arriving at the point where I don't see my pile as such anymore but as part of the interior design.

Swisstree probably talks about Haribo ..... still a possibility of digestive problem depending on the size of her stash ..... and the age of the finder.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

This morning i suggested to the 13yr old (1.70m tall, 70kg) that she clean "her" bathroom. Finally. After 3 weeks of "suggesting", she understood that the brown in the bowl was not its natural colour, and got down to it.
This afternoon the 11yr old (1.65 tall, 56kg) wanted to use said bathroom.
Screaming, shouting, fisticuffs, "how dare you kack in my bathroom, i've just cleaned that"

From a management, health and safety perspective, I have decided that I am no longer big enough to get involved. I just have the car keys ready, should we need a trip to the hospital.
