Actually a first world plus - I like the fact the pillow glows gently, no need to turn on the light to find the bed.
Reminds you of that one time in Amsterdam, huh?

I seem to remember it being red light... but my memory is a bit hazy from other Amsterdam pastimes...

Does that mean #1-3 increased their astroturf budget? then you're OK

Or does it mean the real reviews are catching up with #4s astroturf? then you're screwed

In the scurrilous world of tripadvisor ratings, it probably means that the man employed to give one star reviews to his competitors got married and is on honeymoon.
As soon as he's back my hotel will soar up the rankings again

I had a free lunch (a friend has a fishmonger). Now I have to revise my theory on no free lunch.

And, it was pretty amazing. I gotta revise my theory on pre-cooked fish lunches, too.

Didn't we have a thread about the difference between celery and celeriac somewhere? Because I've forgotten what it is, again

Gosh, people were very active with their thanking & groaning back then. Are we all losing the button in old age, going blind or busy knitting?

How could one forget? That thread ranks pretty high on my EF Greatest Hits list.

Also, I love celery. And celeriac. And (whispering) cilantro.

So, on her way to work (in our building), the local GP greeted me as usual, then asked me 'how many motorcycles do you have?'.

I had to stop a moment and think before answering.

I got two mates who are too generous with kiss-emoticons on whats-app.

How am I supposed to recognize and cherish a "real" one from anybody in the future?!
