Please don't follow me around with that expression - I'll have nightmares.

Although, the Swiss German word for all the stuff neddy is able to do actually IS schtupsen. ROFL.
Wouldn't you people like to take this off-line and / or get a room? Btw:

We don't want a room. It's CathHarmony's choice of words that gives us all nightmares.

My OH and I began an animated conversation about the V8.

"It's so powerful!" I said.

Yep. He was talking about cars, and I was talking about the new Dyson vacuum.

I had to use the "ignore thread" function for the first time ever.
This "Mohrenkopf-thread" gives me a craving every time I read the title and it is constantly updated

I went out of a house covered with plastic sheeting + scaffolding today, hoping to see a bit of sun... and arrived at the bank which was also covered in plastic sheeting + scaffolding .

Ah, Blueangel, but do you have the opportunity to go for a short run at 5 a.m., come home to a freshly prepared fruit breakfast, have a secretary who keeps you focussed on the necessary paperwork during the morning only, then get to retire for a long snooze all afternoon, and spend your evenings either socializing or performing?

Apparently. My grandmother in Liverpool had a special rack specifically designed to ensure that the toast was never warm. Breakfast was always a struggle to try and get a warm piece of toast. At one point we considered getting her a dog, so that we could dispose of the cooled toast at a faster rate than she and her rack could produce them.

That's an odd choice of fashion - I usually just take an umbrella.

And here I was thinking about the tomato/vegetable juice beverage that's popular in the U.S.:

SOBEIT's FWP is that he's confused about the point of the thread.

My FWP: Yesterday they were handing out freebie chocolate bars in the train station, so I took two (one for me and one for Mr. Wishes). Turns out the bars contain hazelnuts so he will get to eat both.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Waiting at the airport last week I started reading EF to pass the time, landing on the Mohrenkopf thread. Which planted a seed, leading me to buy boxes of 'Mini Mousse' to bring to the folks back home.

They all hated them. Cloyingly sweet, they said.

FWP #1 - Waste of precious luggage space that could have been filled with one of Laederach's other, most welcome, delights.

FWP #2 - I didn't try the Mini Mousse myself because almost 20 years here has left me with an intolerance to chocolate.
