What?
Well, Denner seems to have the alcohol content right at least.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I had opened a bottle of Surre Moscht from Ramseier about 10 days ago and refrigerated it. Original content suggests that 4% is imminent. However on bottle’s label they also recommend consumption of it within 4 days after opening the bottle.

Wonder how many percent jumped up ever since ...

So now I’m posting accidentally on Wednesday night instead of Friday ...

My advice is do not suck the cork; whatever Harvey Weinstein promised

Myself I find the ARGENTO MALBEC RESERVA very drinkable; but I do avoid the cork

90% of the time he is playing golf in Florida, so no problems there. The remaining 10% he is talking nonsense in DC, but at that point we can drive to Maryland and eat crab and hang out at the beach away from him

Re: The First World Problem Thread

After years of neglect decided to watch The Apprentice.
Am i the only one who is getting annoyed with regular repetition 'lord Sugar this, yes, lord sugar, but lord sugar, no lord sugar...' It makes my ears and eyes bleed, this submissive show of reverence and subservient, ingratiating behaviour.
The whole thing makes me annoyed and i don't like to be subjected to too much excitement right before my beddie-bye time...

I bought a fancy, scientific toothpaste, to boost my gums and with some enzymatic abracadabra for my enamel.

It just put my mouth on fire. I hope I can actually eat tomorrow.

The talking nonsense bit of others is what usually gets ME in troubles
Eating crab sounds good to me though.

Wow, your kid is a lucky one. Confused? No way! The world wide open!! (People don't like "world wide open" anymore it seems, make sure your kid realizes THAT is the way to go )

If it put your mouth on fire it was probably based on baking soda (you could have had that cheaper) and you will be all amazed tomorrow moring

Sorry dear, I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. But I'm sympathetic of course - that's just how I am

I don't know if I am listening to thunder or a neighbour's wheelie bin being dragged in from the street.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

I Love the set up of the Swiss School System, where kids come home for lunch, start at different times each day, and get afternoons off. Not!
I have 3 kids, and hence a Masters degree in Juggling Effluent.

Last week my boy brought home a note that it is Teacher Only afternoon next Wednesday, so the kids don't come to school. What joy.
Oh, he usually has Thursday afternoons off - it is my 8yr old has Wednesday afternoons off, and the eldest has Fridays off, of course...
My employer is lovely about it, and I can take my computer home from work when I need to. Not all primary carers are that lucky with their jobs.
Sidetracked...

Anyway, so yesterday a note came home, that the teachers are not taking next Wednesday off after all. Apparently there was a Law Change on 1 August, and they have already taken their maximum of free days off for the year.

Sh8t Happens...

There was a 5 minute queue at the petrol station this morning whilst a tanker was filing up. It was like the 1973 oil crisis all over again.

Why do they make Tippex rollers and convenient 'glue' rollers identical in appearance? I had had several goes leaving white stripes on the paper before I realised why the photos didn't stick.
