Hahaha...I was pulling your leg.

700 programs! What is it..a sputnik?
No, a Candy Bianca.

http://www.candy-domestic.co.uk/en_GB/bianca

Why they think anyone needs 700 programmes is a mystery to me. But then again I can talk to it via WiFi and it can talk back to me. Or at least I could if I had a mobile phone.

I think I only ever used 3 different programmes on my old washing machine and I expect it'll be the same with this one. So 697 programmes are likely languish unused forever.

And Swiss heating technology is still a joke!

Not for me. New central heating boiler is doing its thing all on its own, keeping the house nice and cosy.

Don't really have any issues. But then the house has proper walls with isolation.

Socks are like Star Trek. There's Beam me Up Scotties going on. The gods are having a laugh. So who has the other black one with the grey line at the top today? I put in a bunch of army green, a few million black pairs & 5 greys.

In a multiverse there is a parallel, but complementary. ~Neddy just opened her dryer expecting to see a sea of pink frilly Hello Kitty socks, and found 3 green, 7 black, and 1.4 grey.

Re: The First World Problem Thread

What is this bull**** of Europe, USA and Brazil all choosing different dates to set the clocks back/forward?

Brazil has already moved forward, Europe is going back this coming weekend (28/29), and the US is going back on Sat 4/Sun 5.

Pick a single darn date and stick with it instead of confusing people all over the globe!!!!

[Look forward to multi-time zone conference calls...not]

My smartwatch just congratulated me on getting up from the sofa and being active.

I was getting up to get another packet of crisps; so I feel guilty for accepting such praise

Nope, but hubby got caught in the one last week in the Arrissoules tunnel.

Meanwhile back at the washing machine, it seems the likely cause is a faulty tumbler so off to Conforama later to see if we can organise a replacement. Hubby coming home early to video the shaking as evidence.

4hrs in a car..that's some of my US friends' commute times a day.

The trains are getting really packed too, but I'd always prefer chilling on a train here, lush.
