Santa came early.
What did she bring?

My own home made soup burned my own palate while I was reading a paper on attention engineers.

I'm sorry you burnt your mouth, that can be so painful! But oh, the irony, the irony!

Gee, even an English thank you would probably have been better

Re: The First World Problem Thread

A full day at work takes so much out of me that I can't even wind down and relax by planning the holiday that I'm looking so much forward to. I pretty much go almost straight to bed, or I'm forced to work a bit more before that.

I always thought that procrastination tendencies would put relax / pleasure ahead of work that could be delayed until the last minute. It's not working... (pun intended)

<<Oriel is the UK wide portal for recruitment to postgraduate medical, dental, public health, healthcare science and pharmacy training programmes.>>
A very appropriate place to buy vegimite, indeed.

Don't worry, can provide you with the best of high blood pressure, heart and stroke specialists in Zürich (which unfortunately won't help you in Brisbane).

Re: The First World Problem Thread

Bought a new Philips Sonicare ultra sonic toothbrush last Christmas as a gift to me.
Fitted a new brush head a couple of weeks ago and last week the toothbrush started making horrible rattling and grinding noises

So went out and bought another new and expensive Philips Sonicare ultra sonic toothbrush yesterday. Being thrifty I fitted the brush head from the faulty toothbrush and the new one made exactly the same horrible noises.
Fitted another new head and everything was nice and quiet again

Positive side of being thrifty is I discovered the old toothbrush was not faulty

I had one of those rattling, noisy brushes (on a sonicare) a couple of weeks ago. Unlike you I did try changing the brush first
