My OH and me had to wait for our lattes at startbucks in Zurich for 25 minutes, while the staff served a dozen of people in the queue behind us. No apologies from them were heard. The first problem: there is no way to pay them back for the awful service and i feel like hurting them... |

I can not sleep with the window closed.
NYE fireworks, window closed, no sleep.
On NY night, more fireworks, window closed, no sleep.
Last night, Eleanor was howling, banging and rattling, window closed, no sleep.
Now tonight, some eejit is outside on the street coughing.. non-stop horrible hacking, barking-like coughs for the last hour.. | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |

I should reduce a dry red wine consumption in my household. How much per day is a safe dose after all?

Credit Suisse have just sent me a stack of regulatory documents requiring multiple signatures, but there are no arrow stickies telling me where exactly I have to sign.

Wifey told me that there was something wrong with the bell peppers, the seeds had gone black, her hands were burning, and they tasted strange after she cooked them.
I then pointed out that they were not bell peppers, they were rocotos, hence the black seeds and burning hands!

My gym is full to the brim thanks to "new year resolutioners"
Pro side: I feel great whenever I can add 50-100% weight at every machine
Negative side: I gotta wait a lot and feel less motivated myself to hit the gym
